The History
I lived a very cultured childhood as I was raised in the Serengeti, where my father was the king. All was not well as I was tempered by severe hardship as both my father and I were betrayed by my deceitful uncle, who was third in line to the throne, I was second.
So in a violent ploy, my uncle, Scar, made a pact with the local hyenas, where they murdered my father, and attempted to kill me. For safety, I was forced to flee deep into the jungle, away from the Pride Lands, because both Scar and the hyenas were out to get me.
After befriending a meerkat and a warthog in the jungle, I had plenty of time to reflect on my past and concluded I can no longer run as I must rightfully claim my power. I later returned to the Pride Lands to usurp my power, and thus complete the circle of life.

You Need
How about this photo of a 2,000 watt Mole Richardson light? It is an incandescent light that is far from energy efficient, but you know what? It really gets the job done.

The Storm Rolls In
Raise Ain’t Coming
Wasting Fuel
Personal, artistic video showcasing the frustrations inherent in the aerial photography industry.
In aerial-survey work, clouds are bad — they ruin the imagery and don’t allow you to collect data.
To keep the illusion of work alive, we’ve been flying every day while on the road (24 days straight) in order to appear aggressive and have burnt hundreds of gallons of fuel in doing so. Knowingly flying in cloudy conditions (just to get a first person perspective because you didn’t trust the forecast) is annoying.
There is one aerial-survey company in particular where the pilot is lauded for attempting to fly through poor weather, while simultaneously the operator is criticized for the collected-junk data because the weather was poor (too bad it isn’t his call to make).
Work for work’s sake.
