While filming, exposing for slow-motion was something to keep in mind. To properly expose the Sony FS7 (in S-Log2), a lot of light was brought in to record everything (details in the shadows and mid-tones) for filming at 120fps.

Matthew Rosen shares a few tips on how to nail that flat light, beauty, sitcom look. To get started, he places only one, main-light behind, and over the model's head, creating an accented hair light, that leaves her (temporarily) looking like a silhouette.
