Understanding Drift:

Thorough new-hire training is a problem all businesses face. This video was contracted by an
aerial survey company to supplement their training of newly-hired employees. Understanding
Drift explains the fundamentals of aerial surveying from a photographer’s perspective. Kinetic
typography (animated and synched type to audio) is a core feature that is used to convey this
video’s message.

Aerial Support

 

Above is a video that debuted at Microsoft’s aerial survey conference in Denver, CO, in 2012. It showcases how a select few survey companies are using Microsoft’s latest and greatest camera: the Ultracam Eagle. This was an exciting project to work on as I mounted my DSLR rig to the aircraft to capture impressive footage. No cameras were harmed during the filming of Aerial Support.
